A juvenile shark was caught and released off the Manhattan Beach pier this morning around 9:30am. The fisherman was legally fishing and following all the new Manhattan Beach Pier fishing rules. As soon as he realized he had snagged a shark, he brought his line out to the west end of the pier and cut his line. The juvenile shark swam off once the line was cut.
