We love puddles.
We don’t get much rain here in the South Bay, so when it does rain we get out there and play. Locations include the Manhattan Beach Pier and Polliwog Park.
King Tides, the highest astronomical tides of the year, pounded Redondo Beach with high tides reaching well over 7ft. Along with the high tides, gusty onshore winds also blew through Redondo Beach. Civic Couch was there to document the conditions.

A juvenile shark was caught and released off the Manhattan Beach pier this morning around 9:30am. The fisherman was legally fishing and following all the new Manhattan Beach Pier fishing rules. As soon as he realized he had snagged a shark, he brought his line out to the west end of the pier and cut his line. The juvenile shark swam off once the line was cut.
