Manhattan Beach City Manager Steps Down

Manhattan Beach City Manager Geoff Dolan and the City have mutually agreed that Dolan will be stepping down as City Manager to pursue other endeavors. Dolan submitted his resignation which has been accepted by the Manhattan Beach City Council. Manhattan Beach Mayor Portia Cohen commented, “On behalf of the entire Council, I want to express our appreciation to Geoff for his contributions to our community.”geoffDolan commented, “It’s been a great 15 years and I’m ready for the next chapter of my life.  I’m proud of all we have accomplished and I wish nothing but the best for the City going forward.”
 
Director of Community Development Richard Thompson has been named interim City Manager while the City conducts a search for Dolan’s successor.
