Expecting the swell to hit the South Bay, photogs Brad Jacobson and Ken Pagliaro got a surprise to see the wind got on the south bay in the wrong way, forcing them to chase the swell north to Rincon and Ventura.

On June 24th, Brian Bradfield, Chris Wells, Conor Beatty, Filippa Ferrara and Wan Hernandez headed down to Salt Creek to catch a few fun waves during a south swell for a "raod trip" article in which will be featured in our July Issue.

We headed to Newport Beach on May 20th to catch the new south swell. We hit the Wedge early (pic's coming soon), then headed off to 54th street to catch up with Dayton Silva. The sets were overhead and held their shape.

Some of the South Bay guys got together for a day trip to Huntington Beach. It wasn't great but Chris Wells, Dane Zaun and Matt Pagan caught waist to chest high waves on the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier on Thurs. May 12th.
